《麻醉學》是英國和愛爾蘭麻醉師協會的官方刊物，具有國際性和綜合性。它出版原創的，同行審查的文章，所有方面的一般和區域麻醉，重癥監護和疼痛治療，包括研究設備。評論文章10000字以上，歡迎發表專題文章、案例報告和歷史筆記。也發表了著名麻醉師的社論、書評和訃告;每一期都有一個活躍的通信部分。理事會的年度報告每年出版。

Anaesthesia is the official journal of the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland and is international in scope and comprehensive in coverage. It publishes original, peer reviewed articles on all aspects of general and regional anaesthesia, intensive care and pain therapy, including research on equipment.Review articles up to 10,000 words, special articles, case reports and historical notes are welcome. Also published are editorials, book reviews and obituaries of eminent anaesthetists; there is an active correspondence section in each issue. The Annual Report of council is published each year.
