該期刊發(fā)表了關(guān)于計算算法和優(yōu)化建模技術(shù)的分析和發(fā)展的研究。它研究的算法要么為一般類別的優(yōu)化問題或更具體的應(yīng)用問題，隨機算法和確定性算法。計算優(yōu)化及其應(yīng)用涉及到優(yōu)化領(lǐng)域的廣泛主題，包括:大規(guī)模優(yōu)化、無約束優(yōu)化、約束優(yōu)化、不可微優(yōu)化、組合優(yōu)化、隨機優(yōu)化、多目標優(yōu)化和網(wǎng)絡(luò)優(yōu)化。它還包括線性規(guī)劃、復(fù)雜性理論、自動微分、近似和誤差分析、參數(shù)規(guī)劃和靈敏度分析、管理科學(xué)等等。這本同行評審的雜志以提供理論分析和精心設(shè)計的計算實驗的研究和指導(dǎo)論文為特色。

This journal publishes research on the analysis and development of computational algorithms and modeling technology for optimization. It examines algorithms either for general classes of optimization problems or for more specific applied problems, stochastic algorithms as well as deterministic algorithms.Computational Optimization and Applications covers a wide range of topics in optimization, including: large scale optimization, unconstrained optimization, constrained optimization, nondifferentiable optimization, combinatorial optimization, stochastic optimization, multiobjective optimization, and network optimization. It also covers linear programming, complexity theory, automatic differentiation, approximations and error analysis, parametric programming and sensitivity analysis, management science, and more.This peer-reviewed journal features both research and tutorial papers that provide theoretical analysis, along with carefully designed computational experiments.
