碳管理是一個同行評議的學術論壇，為來自不同學科的見解提供參考，這些學科加強了我們對二氧化碳和其他溫室氣體相互作用的理解——從生物學、生態學、化學和工程學到法律、政策、經濟學和社會學。碳管理的核心目標是檢查選項和減輕氣候變化的原因和影響機制,其中包括減排機制和加強大氣中的溫室氣體的去除,以及指標用來衡量性能的選項和機制產生的國際條約,國內政策、當地法規、市場環境、技術、工業努力和消費者的選擇。該雜志的一個關鍵目標是，以包容和科學的方式，就與管理全球溫室氣體排放及其影響的長期努力相關的政策執行實際工作，促進學術上的辯論。在不久的將來作出的決定將對全球氣候和生物圈產生深遠的影響。碳管理以一種可訪問的形式提供研究結果，為研究、教育、管理和環境政策領域的決策提供信息。

Carbon Management is a scholarly peer-reviewed forum for insights from the diverse array of disciplines that enhance our understanding of carbon dioxide and other GHG interactions – from biology, ecology, chemistry and engineering to law, policy, economics and sociology.The core aim of Carbon Management is it to examine the options and mechanisms for mitigating the causes and impacts of climate change, which includes mechanisms for reducing emissions and enhancing the removal of GHGs from the atmosphere, as well as metrics used to measure performance of options and mechanisms resulting from international treaties, domestic policies, local regulations, environmental markets, technologies, industrial efforts and consumer choices. One key aim of the journal is to catalyse intellectual debate in an inclusive and scientific manner on the practical work of policy implementation related to the long-term effort of managing our global GHG emissions and impacts. Decisions made in the near future will have profound impacts on the global climate and biosphere. Carbon Management delivers research findings in an accessible format to inform decisions in the fields of research, education, management and environmental policy.
