國際肥胖癥肥胖研究協(xié)會(huì)官方期刊評論是一本新的期刊，對訂閱者和作者來說將是一個(gè)明顯的好處。它首先是在與肥胖相關(guān)的所有學(xué)科中發(fā)布最新評論的工具。因此，它應(yīng)該吸引所有對肥胖感興趣的專業(yè)人士，尤其是內(nèi)分泌學(xué)家心臟病專家胃腸病學(xué)家，還有風(fēng)濕病學(xué)家以及從事普通醫(yī)學(xué)和外科手術(shù)的健康專業(yè)人員。此外，該期刊還將通過規(guī)劃當(dāng)前爭議的評論，為教育和跨專業(yè)發(fā)展做出貢獻(xiàn)。肥胖評論是國際肥胖研究協(xié)會(huì)的官方評論期刊，該會(huì)在32個(gè)國家擁有6000多名會(huì)員，會(huì)員身份迅速增加。在國際肥胖研究協(xié)會(huì)的保護(hù)下，成為國家協(xié)會(huì)成員的個(gè)人可享受特殊訂閱費(fèi)率。該期刊將于2000年夏季推出，之后每年發(fā)行兩期和四期。編輯政策將最大限度地縮短提交和發(fā)布評論之間的時(shí)間，同時(shí)保持同行評審所要求的高質(zhì)量標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

An Official Journal of the International Association for the Study of Obesity Obesity Reviews is a new journal that will be an obvious benefit to subscribers and authors. It is first and foremost a vehicle for publishing updated reviews in all disciplines related to obesity. It should therefore appeal to all professionals with an interest in obesity most particularly to endocrinologists cardiologists gastroenterologists obstetricians but also rheumatologists as well as health professionals working in general medicine and surgery. Furthermore the journal will contribute to education and inter-professional developments by planning pro et con reviews on current controversies. Obesity Reviews is a official review journal of the International Association for the Study of Obesity which has over 6 000 members in 32 countries with a rapidly increasing membership status. A special subscription rate is available for individuals who are members of the national associations under the umbrella of the International Association for the Study of Obesity. The journal will be launched in summer 2000 with two issues and four issues per year thereafter. The Editorial policy will be to minimise the period between submission and publication of reviews while retaining high standards of quality exercised by peer review.
