《傳染病雜志》(JID)自1904年起連續出版，是全球最早的傳染病原創性研究期刊。編輯們歡迎在微生物學、免疫學、流行病學和相關學科、傳染病發病機制、診斷和治療方面發表重要文章和簡要報告，介紹研究成果;研究導致它們的微生物;以及宿主免疫反應的紊亂。JID是美國傳染病學會的官方出版物。

Published continuously since 1904, The Journal of Infectious Diseases (JID) is the premier global journal for original research on infectious diseases. The editors welcome Major Articles and Brief Reports describing research results on microbiology, immunology, epidemiology, and related disciplines, on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious diseases; on the microbes that cause them; and on disorders of host immune responses. JID is an official publication of the Infectious Diseases Society of America.
