最早的科學(xué)雙盲同行評(píng)議論文發(fā)表在《科學(xué)學(xué)報(bào)》上，涵蓋了園藝科學(xué)的主要方面。它涉及基礎(chǔ)和應(yīng)用研究，包括選定的形態(tài)學(xué)、解剖學(xué)、生理學(xué)、遺傳學(xué)和育種、種植、營(yíng)養(yǎng)、園藝植物保護(hù)以及評(píng)價(jià)園藝作物的質(zhì)量等學(xué)科。這些問題都可以歸結(jié)為以下幾個(gè)方面:園藝植物的形態(tài)學(xué)、解剖學(xué)和生理學(xué)現(xiàn)代園藝植物育種、栽培和營(yíng)養(yǎng)系統(tǒng)個(gè)體遺傳和遺傳因素決定園藝作物的數(shù)量和質(zhì)量。栽培條件和環(huán)境因素對(duì)園藝產(chǎn)品化學(xué)成分和生化性能的影響園藝產(chǎn)品的保健功能園藝作物貯藏對(duì)其生物活性成分及其代謝產(chǎn)物的穩(wěn)定性和生物活性的影響與園藝生產(chǎn)有關(guān)的經(jīng)濟(jì)方面任何學(xué)科在園藝生產(chǎn)和其質(zhì)量之間的接口
