《醫(yī)學(xué)信息方法》論述了醫(yī)學(xué)和衛(wèi)生保健中處理數(shù)據(jù)、信息和知識(shí)的基本方法和科學(xué)基礎(chǔ)。它出版醫(yī)學(xué)信息學(xué)和醫(yī)學(xué)生物計(jì)量學(xué)等相關(guān)學(xué)科的原始論文、評(píng)論、報(bào)告、意見論文和社論。自1962年該雜志成立以來，信息處理方法和信息通信技術(shù)的進(jìn)步極大地改變了我們的社會(huì)，醫(yī)學(xué)和衛(wèi)生保健利用了這一進(jìn)步。《醫(yī)學(xué)信息方法》發(fā)表的論文涉及醫(yī)學(xué)和衛(wèi)生保健領(lǐng)域的整個(gè)數(shù)據(jù)處理、信息和知識(shí)領(lǐng)域，包括傳統(tǒng)領(lǐng)域和這一不斷擴(kuò)大的領(lǐng)域的新領(lǐng)域的研究。它包括健康信息系統(tǒng)和病人記錄等主題;衛(wèi)生保健中的診斷和治療;生物醫(yī)學(xué)數(shù)據(jù)、信號(hào)和圖像解釋;臨床生物信息學(xué);臨床資料分析與統(tǒng)計(jì)研究;專家系統(tǒng)和知識(shí)表示;仿真和建模。

Methods of Information in Medicine discusses the basic methodology and scientific fundamentals of processing data, information and knowledge in medicine and health care. It publishes original papers, reviews, reports, opinion papers, and editorials in medical informatics, and related disciplines such as medical biometry. Since the Journal's foundation in 1962, progress in information processing methodology and in information and communication technology has greatly changed our societies, and medicine and health care have taken advantage of this progress. Methods of Information in Medicine publishes papers in the whole range of processing data, information and knowledge in medicine and health care, including research in traditional and in new areas of this expanding field. It includes topics such as health information systems and patient records; diagnosis and therapy in health care; biomedical data, signal, and image interpretation; clinical bioinformatics; clinical data analysis and statistical studies; expert systems and knowledge representation; simulation and modeling.
