《藻類研究》是一本國(guó)際生態(tài)學(xué)雜志，涵蓋藻類生物學(xué)、生物質(zhì)生產(chǎn)、栽培、收獲、提取、生物制品、生物精加工、工程和計(jì)量經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)等新興技術(shù)的所有領(lǐng)域。藻類的定義包括藍(lán)藻、微藻、原生生物和生物技術(shù)中感興趣的共生體。該雜志出版的原始研究和評(píng)論范圍如下:藻類生物學(xué)，包括但不限于:藻類的系統(tǒng)發(fā)育、生物多樣性、分子特性、代謝調(diào)控和基因工程、藻類的培育，如光養(yǎng)系統(tǒng)、異養(yǎng)系統(tǒng)和混合營(yíng)養(yǎng)系統(tǒng)、藻類的收獲和提取系統(tǒng)、將藻類生物量和組分轉(zhuǎn)化為生物燃料和生物產(chǎn)品的生物技術(shù)，如營(yíng)養(yǎng)藥品、藥物、動(dòng)物飼料、塑料等藻類產(chǎn)品及其經(jīng)濟(jì)評(píng)價(jià)后一主題的論文應(yīng)包括支持這些過程和技術(shù)的特性和分析，例如:生物精煉廠和生物量特性的方法、可持續(xù)性評(píng)價(jià)和分析，例如技術(shù)經(jīng)濟(jì)、生命周期和利用藻類作為生物量主要來源的系統(tǒng)和過程的資源評(píng)價(jià)。如果核心概念是opitmization過程中的實(shí)驗(yàn)設(shè)計(jì)(RSM、CCD或其他)或藻類提取物的生物活性，而沒有對(duì)生物活性相關(guān)化合物進(jìn)行充分的表征和識(shí)別，那么該雜志將不會(huì)考慮這些手稿。評(píng)論文章、書評(píng)、評(píng)注等，必須與編輯協(xié)商后提交。

Algal Research is an international phycology journal covering all areas of emerging technologies in algae biology, biomass production, cultivation, harvesting, extraction, bioproducts, biorefinery, engineering, and econometrics. Algae is defined to include cyanobacteria, microalgae, and protists and symbionts of interest in biotechnology. The journal publishes original research and reviews for the following scope: algal biology, including but not exclusive to: phylogeny, biodiversity, molecular traits, metabolic regulation, and genetic engineering, algal cultivation, e.g. phototrophic systems, heterotrophic systems, and mixotrophic systems, algal harvesting and extraction systems, biotechnology to convert algal biomass and components into biofuels and bioproducts, e.g., nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, animal feed, plastics, etc. algal products and their economic assessmentPapers in the latter topics should include characterization and analysis in support of such processes and technologies, for example:approaches to biorefinery and biomass characterization, sustainability assessments and analyses, such as techno-economic, life cycle, and resource assessments of systems and processes using algae as a main source of biomass.The journal will not consider manuscripts where the core concept is the experimental design (RSM, CCD or other) in the opitmization of a process, or the biological activity of algae extracts without full characterization and identification of the compounds responsible for the bioactivity.Review articles, book reviews and commentaries should only be submitted after consultation with the Editors.
