木材科學技術出版涵蓋木材材料科學、木材部件和木基產品整個領域的原始科學研究成果和評論論文。課程包括木材生物學和木材質量、木材物理和物理技術、木材化學和化學技術。報告了細胞壁和木材形成、木材和木材復合材料的結構和化學成分及其性能關系、木材和木材制品的物理、機械和化學特性及相關方法學發展、微生物降解等領域的最新進展。與木材技術相關的主題包括機械加工、粘合和表面處理、復合技術、木材改性、木材力學、蠕變和流變學，以及將木材轉化為紙漿和生物精煉產品。

Wood Science and Technology publishes original scientific research results and review papers covering the entire field of wood material science, wood components and wood based products. Subjects are wood biology and wood quality, wood physics and physical technologies, wood chemistry and chemical technologies. Latest advances in areas such as cell wall and wood formation; structural and chemical composition of wood and wood composites and their property relations; physical, mechanical and chemical characterization and relevant methodological developments, and microbiological degradation of wood and wood based products are reported. Topics related to wood technology include machining, gluing, and finishing, composite technology, wood modification, wood mechanics, creep and rheology, and the conversion of wood into pulp and biorefinery products.
